At The Refuge Church, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know The Lord Jesus Christ and grow in their salvation. We have been instrumental in founding and growing several ministries down through the years, across several states. We have just launched in the city of Devine, TX and we are very excited about what we believe God is looking to do.

When you come to join us for the first time, one of our greeters will be glad to help you feel comfortable. At this time we are meeting in a temporary shared space, but we have the confidence that not many days from now God is going to take us into a permanent space.

During the service, you'll hear our faith expressed in the songs we sing, prayers we offer up and our pastor's anointed preaching. All parts of our service are grounded in the Bible, which we are committed to upholding. At The Refuge Church, we agree with the Apostle's Doctrine taught to us in the book of Acts 2:37-47, which you will hear referenced often. There will be many scriptures quoted, and bible stories expounded on, but all will be under divine authority. You will also hear us recount testimonies of miracles signs and wonders that God has performed in our lives and the lives of other believers that have crossed our path.

After the service, we always take the time to linger with one another. To greet one another and to connect with our brothers and sisters in Christ. This is a special time for our congregation, as we know this draws us closer together. But we will be looking to support you the most. Whatever your previous walk, or however God caused you to cross our paths, we know that is was predestined and we will be sure to make the most of that time.

No matter what your background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us on Sunday. Here at The Refuge Church, you'll find people of all sizes, stripes and colors, and at different places in their walk with God.  We welcome everyone as they are, because we know that we all have to start somewhere. At this time we only meet one day a week, but there are more services that will be added soon.
